if you went to all the trouble of replacing your fog lights, why didn't you also just convert and add the HID kit for them as well.

That will make the real difference.

Bulbs = Less then $20
HID kit = 300+

The factory lighting is sufficient. Theres no need for HID fogs besides looks. Personally, i would have went with HID fogs myself, but it's his car and he just wanted the fog color to match that of the low beam.

Sorry I didn't realize $$ was the real concern.

But the lighting from the fogs OEM are crap when compared to the HID light output.

It's honestly the difference between night and day.

So the Hid kit actually changes the entire lamp? So it looks different not only lighting wise but also when the lights are off? Much harder to install, no?

the hid kit, doesn't change the housing of the bulb, it only changes the buld from a filament to a HID xenon light.

The come complete with the ballasts and ignitors, ect.

It is not hard to install especially on a non450h.

It's really one a 30 minute job.

Nice pictures. Looks like you also changed out your city lights? I changed out my city lights with the PIAA LEDs as well. They look soo nice! Extremely bright and it's a pure white light. I was afraid it was going to a rice rocket type of look, but it totally matches the LED scheme of the car. Thanks for the DIY.

Can someone post the types of bulbs that can be replaced on the 07 GS350?

I want to change the fogs, the city lights and the rear turn signal lights. What type of bulbs are they?

Im also disabling the DRL's, but heres the question- Can I reroute the DRL to be the fogs- so instead of the hibeams at half watt (they will be off)- the fogs will be on instead, as DRL's..Any ideas?
