Seibon's quality and fitment is supposed to be top notch. There are a few 2GS owners with their CF hoods and their reports have been nothing but good news.

I wouldn't mind doing both the hood and the trunk... just as long as you do a thin weave for the roof...

What exactly is the purpose of a CF hood ?? Is it to make the car look like a civic or an integra ??

Last time I checked Sansei's car doesn't look like a civic nor an integra...

I cant tell that the hood is not stock, he has it on because it is lighter ?? is it painted ?? All the ones I have seen are that CF pattern and it does not match the rest of the car...

It's not painted, most likely has it on because of looks or lightness.

He has a CF lip kit, trunk, hood, wing, and sideskirts..

This is what I have seen most often

Anyhow, as for weight, the 40 pounds you save on only a hood wont make that much of a difference, as for looks, it does not belong on a gs3 IMO. As for sensei's car, it may impresses most on this board , but I am not a fan of the look...it is a very nice example of a modded race car look GS. It does not have the class the car had off the lot. Just my 2 cents

O okay, then that explains a lot. We just have two different tastes I guess...

I see big gaps (fitting) around the carbon fiber hood. Does it suppose to be like that?
