the way I look at it is for $200.00 it is not worth it to argue with the dealer to pay for the labor. Goodwill is from Lexus but the dealer has to process it and also to fight on behalf of customer to get the goodwill. For $200.00 it is well worth it to stay on the good side of the dealer just in case you need goodwill later and Lexus decides to reject the claim you still have the dealers goodwill. The dealer also is alotted goodwill money either from Lexus or from their own dealership funds. I had this situation with MB before in which MB refused goodwill and the dealer used his own goodwill funds to fix the problem for me. I think many dealerships have similiar programs. Don't forget you got 10,000 miles out of the tires and for $200.00 that is well worth it. Basically it is a two way street you scratch their back they scratch your back. So if you argue about the 200.00 labor they may eat it this time but next time they won't be so adamant when they put a good will claim in for you.

lexus4dfw!
I had the same issue with my 2006 AWD.
"howl most notable when coming to a stop!"
I did not check my tires in regular interval but after 25K I have noticed that inner side of the tire were almost gone compare to the outer side.
This is a wheel alignment problem. It need to be adjusted with toe-in setting correct. Because it is toed-in more than the spec, it becomes noiser when the car slows down. I had to replace the car with new tires and do the alignment by that time.
After the adjustment was done the car is back to the Lexus Ride.

Hope this helps!

Default Bulge in tire; Car pulling

Couple of questions. I noticed my car pulling to the right the other day. Separately, the driver's side front tire (Yoko Advan) has a noticeable bulge in it. We're taking it in tomorrow to have the tire replaced, but after reading this thread, I wonder if we should be asking for more than just having the one tire replaced? The car has 1700 miles on it.
