Added some more mods now that the weather is nice
I put on Wald sideskirts and the wheels are Work Euroline FE
19x8.5 +38 all around. The tires are Toyo T1-R 245/40/19.

I can't lower the car (would rub with the fat 19's) and I know it
would look SOOO much better with a drop...

You can drop it. Both my 3GS are dropped and they both have the fat set-up. Fat tires on 19 are the same as low profile 20's. With 38 offset wheels, you should have absolutely no rubbing.

I am curious, when you turn the steering wheel left or right, is there any rubbing ? I ask because I went with 245 45 18s and when the steering wheel is turned a small amount such that the tires turn about 30 degrees or so (left or right) , the outer edge of the tire barely rubs the back of the wheel well. Your size is slightly bigger yet, did you notice this ??

the lexus website mentions 245/45 as an option, although that might be an error since we really get 245/40 tires.

our 245/40's are that close to the wells already??

I noticed that the 245 45 18s barely rub on the plastic back there, which by the way bends in easily so no harm or damge done, nor will it wear thru ? at least i hope not, i like the cushier ride of the 45 series

I agree.. i have the fat setup i i maybe a little lower with no rubbing.. The car looks great regardless..

I got the wheels from Derrick at D2 Autosport. He told me I
had the option of 245/35/19 (in which case I would have no problems
lowering) but I chose 245/40/19 because of the bad roads in Boston.
I destroyed two 245/40/18's a couple of weeks ago...

I actually do seem to get a little bit of rubbing anyway when backing up
and turning, but I can deal with that. People seem to nearly universally
love the brushed aluminum FE's even if I went with a conservative
fitment

Looks awesome! Are those O-disks all the way around? I wasn't sure if the O-disk would clear our front calipers. I was considering similar sizing, but with the Euroline TR's. And since mine is AWD too, I just wanted to make it "look" staggered with this setup:
Front: 19x8.5 +40 (R-disk)
Rear: 19x8.5 +38 (O-disk)

Any info would be great! Thanks and awesome wheel selection!
