Default 2007 gs350 driver door problem

I noticed that I need to use more strength go close the driver's door in my 2007 gs350
All the other doors i can close with minimum effort.
Does anyone else experience the same problem?
Is this normal?
Please advice
Thanks,
Yuriy.

The second day I got the GS350, I noticed that. I kind of expected that because it was the same with GX470 when I first got it. Is it happening to every Lexus?

I'm in the same boat. Sheesh!!! This car is brand new with issues up the ying-yang. The front dash board rattles, door doesn't shut all the way, and now I'm getting noises in the rear driver side speaker somewhere. What is else????

mine close just fine.

My problem with doors is the indentation on the padded door arm rest. There are 4 imprints on my driver door (which dealer replaced the door panel) and 3 on the passenger side rear door (which dealer did not want to replace). My dealer (Magnussen’s) told me that it’s common on the new cars… but why? It’s like an ugly permanent birth mark.

Could just be a lack of lubrication (insufficient grease installed at factory). Some one shoot some WD-40 in the mechanism and see if that doesn't resolve it.

No problem with my GS450h. It requires minimal effort to close the driver's and other doors.

just an update for you guys. My wife took the car to the dealer today and she was told that this problem exists in all GS350 since GS350 is made to be very airtight and therefore when all the doors and windows are locked , it seems that it is harder to close the driver door. I don't buy this, probably bull****, but that was their answer. Also, they showed her 2 other GS350 and they had the same problem

If thats the case then any single door which is closed when all other doors and windows are closed should do the same thing. Do they?

Ha, you should ask them if this problem also exists in the GS430 and GS450H.

Or maybe only the GS350 is designed to be "airtight"
