Default problem with proximity sensor

Anybody knows what I can do? My front driver sensor goes off for no reason. I cleaned it and still it goes off. Not when something isnt there, but it does go off when something farther away is there than that of the passenger sensor.

maybe they just need to be recalibrated? The distance could be incorrect......
Take it in, that's my suggestion.

Oh wait I remember your car from the Chardonnay pearl forum. You said it was unhurt, I think its time to take it to your dealer. You guys have only one dealer in all of Hi correct? Boy would I love to own that "the only game in town". hha

cool. mark that another thing to check when I got in for my first oil change. I would go in sooner, but its nothing life threating, but it is annoying:
1) prox sensor.
2) Radio reception (no tint on my car)
3) brake pad replacement

Oh haha. If you know Hawaii you know 92.3,93.9 should come in strong. I loose 93.9 and 92.3 looses "st" lock sometimes. At Ala Moana, with the lights on, I will not be able to hear 93.9 above the static.

Not to mention my 2k Maxima and my '05 Sienna has excellent reception. Heck I can get 88.9 (I think that's the number. Its the classical station) and yet, the GS can't even pull it in to lock the channel.

maybe your antenna is out.....hence the color difference...they might have tried to replaced it and didn't do a good color match.

Hmm... I thought the attenna is in the rear glass? The little sharkfin thing is "empty"? And believe it or not, I think that actually matches the color of my car. The part that seems a little off on color is the spoiler, and those plasic running strips on the roof and the rear window.

Oh and on a off topic note, am I the only one who finds it neat that the front window doesn't have a rubber seal going around it? At least not like a normal car.
