GS430 front caliper clearance on wheels
I ordered a set of 19s for my 430. 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 with 32 offset. The rear fit fine although a little flush with the fenders, but since Im not lowering the back that much it should be ok. The front is an entirely different matter. The GS430's front caliper is huge and the 32 offset wouldn't even fit with a 5mm spacer. So I exchanged the front wheel for one with a 20 offset and a high pad and still didnt fit. Adding a 5mm spacer made it work, but it only allowed for 3 turns. So now I just ordered the H&R spacer and extended stud kit which hopefully would solve that problem, Im pretty sure with the spacer it would sit out from the fender and I would need to roll the fender. I've never had so many issues fitting a wheel on stock brakes and caliper. Checking with TireRack, most 19s on a GS430 uses a 38-40 offset, which I dont see how that would even come close to fitting. I would say the front would need a highpad 15 offset.
