Sharkfin knocked off by garage door

Sharkfin knocked off by garage door
My garage door got stuck halfway up while backing out and knocked off my sharkfin. There's a minor ding on each side of antenna. Local lexus bodyshop wants $2100 to fix. They claim that they have to remove headliner, rear glass, and windshield in order to fix properly. Boy am I bummed!
If anyone can help with headliner removal instructions I would be most grateful!
I've epoxied the fin back on, but I need to tighten to the roof from the inside.

$2100?!?! The only real function of sharkfin is to host XM antenna. If you are not using XM or if you are using an external XM antenna, than a fix with epoxy could be enough? Were there any cable going from inside of sharkfin to the roof of the car? Its hard to tell from your picture.

The garage door twisted the fin forward before breaking off and put a small dent in the back of the fin. Then the garage door landed across the roof, putting a couple of dents in it.

a little surprised that the sharkfin is 'empty' inside...
on a separate note, I think i'd be ill if that happened to me... will be carefully looking at the garage door from now on!

suprised to see the emptiness as well...
On removing the headliner you are in for alot more work than your thinking, All the seats come out, console box, door trim aand garnishover head lights, grips etc. but I sent you a PM if your up for it.
