Default My spare wheel is missing?

I will check with my dealer on Monday, but after having my car for a week I just discovered that my spare wheel is missing. Is this just a mistake or is this part of a plan with "run flat" tires?

Part of the plan, as I understand it. You aren't supposed to need the spare with the run-flats.

Does that mean yours RWD comes with a spare since you don't have run-flats? Will find out on Monday. From what I read about run-flats, they should last for about 20k. Afterwards, I will get "normal" tires. Than, I will need my spare donut So, I better get my spare now before I will have to pay for it after 20k

By spare, do you mean the donut? My GS300 AWD came with runflats and a donut; no full-sized spare.

Yes, I meant the donut as a spare wheel. I believe a full size spare will not even fit in there. I guess will get mine next week.

I have runflats and did not get a spare at all with the car. Was told it would be an addition $400 or so. Which is why I am trying to find out what the size of the spare tire is so I can purchase one else where.

Yep, got confirmation today that you don't get a spare donut with a runflat tires. I asked them what happens after 20k when I have to replace my runflats and want to choose something else? Their reply: you get roadside assistance, or can get a used spare donut off ebay. Will just need to find out a spec for that spare tire for a future reference...

I could maybe see them not providing the rubber part of the wheel-tire but at least the donut rim, one would think that would come with the car.

no spare wheel with the run flats. I couldn't even fit one if it was an option. I have an engine where the spare should go.

Don't get me wrong not all AWD runflats come with a donut. Even my
salesman didn't know about it.

I'm guessing it's a regional or dealer decision as our GS430 has both runflats and the donut.

WTF, I'm in disbelief in reading this thread. I cant understand why a car this expensive, one wouldnt have a steel spare wheel let alone a FULL SIZE ALLOY replacement!
