Really now... do you get to say that without posting pics of your ride?

It's like having people criticize you ride at a car show... then you see them in the parking lot getting into their '95 Civic with a primered door and a "Powered by Honda" sticker on the windshield.

Car looks great! The Michelins are a great choice for tires. I always think cars look better lowered, but one of my cars is a lowered Fiat, so take that for what it's worth BTW, the Tanabes provide a nice drop, but the lower of the two versions does stiffen up the ride a bit.

I did a little work... strictly for motivational purposes:

Wheels look fantastic! Excellent choice in finish and size. I am personally not a big fan of chrome (however little it may be), but on your car it looks great!

The lip sizes are not as big as I was expecting - is this normal with this particular style of wheel from Zone? Still looks great though.

Bob, how much do these 19's weigh? (under 25 lbs)?

Derrick, what size tires (width) did you put on these rims?

SoCal you are awesome - love your "virtual lowering" talent .

The only problem is now you've got me salivating for real lowering...

Thanks - I'm like you kind of tired of chrome, but just the lip was the right balance for me.

Bob or Derrick will have to answer these two Q's, I'm guessing they are lighter than the stock 18's.

The tires were spec'd at 275-30-19 in the rear but after mounting it looks like a 285-30-19 would be the perfect fit and that's what I'll try when i replace them.

The fronts are 245-35-19 and believe me this is the absolute perfect fit. Wide as humanly possible with not rubbing at all turn to turn. Do not try 255's.

So what? your car any better?

photoguy, those zone wheels look hot on your car. my brother's GS runs the Tanabe DFs and a staggered 20" setup and it doesnt ride that bad. im sure with the more conservative drop of the Tanabe NFs + 19" tires you can have the look with a ride you can live with. maybe someone in your area has their GS lowered and you can take a ride in it to decide.

I think the wheels look great. I'm considering 19's, even 18's for our 3GS. My wife is really worried about the ride degrading. It's her daily and she will pitch a humongous fit if I lower the car and it rides like my SC does with Tein CS.

Hey Hameed, the weight on the 19x10 is approx 24lb's and yes the Brushed with Chrome is a monster combo. The wheels are more conservative than they could be because of the Michelin PS2's. Those tires run so large that we actually have to build wheels differently to accomodate them!

If you mounted a 255/35-20 Continental CS2 on that same wheel it would probably look the same as this PS2 (maybe even smaller!)

Zone can easily do 3.5" rear lip with minimal fender mods with a 2.5" lip, but on more conservative no modding setups the rear lip is 3" and IMO a 2.5 / 3.0" lip looks odd.

Default ride stiffness

NF's spring rate is only 5% over stock. Imperceptible.

Beautiful ride but I do agree that a drop is not optional, it's necessary to complete the look.

Here is a visual comparo. Made a huge difference with the stock 18's!
