Default Widest tires that would fit on a 3GS body with rolled stock fenders?

Hello everyone!

Looks like my next car will be very likely to be a GS460. I am starting my research now on mods.

1st question:

What is the widest tires that fit on the stock body with the fenders lip rolled completely flat?

I see the standard upgrade people go with are 245 front and 275/285 rear. I like to know the max width that would fit without much rubbing. 255/265 front, 295/305/315 rear? What is the widest people have done?

I like wide tires

Thank you in advance for your help

First the offsets on the wheels you will use as well as tire brand will be needed.

The offset of the wheel would be assumed to be the ideal to utilize ALL available space inside the fender well. From the strut's body to the fender lip. I don't know what that is as like I said, I just started my research

I see all the wheels Tom's offer is +45 mm offset and it looks to be pretty flush, is that the ideal offset?

True, since all tires have different width even though they are the same size. I guess I am asking a general question then, max width +- 10mm.

I did 275 rear with no fender rolling, and now I can see 285 would have been perfect for a 10" rim and fit easily.

Why not get the 285, which doesn't require any body mods, and is only a tad less than 295?

Thank you for your input

Wide tires are my thing, every car I own, I always rolled the fender and fit the widest tires I can. Sounds like 285 with no rolling, so 295/305 maybe possible with rolled fenders.

I can't wait to see what size tires Lexus will put on the F-line car.
