New Mod...Adds to the Stealth Look at Night (Updated with Better picture)
I wanted to dim down the license plate lights so that it added to the stealthly look I am going for. I added a smoked license plate cover, but that didn't do anything at night (does look great during the day thought ). So I tinted the lights red, by using some red semi-clear tape. Here is a quick picture (sorry, quality isn't great..just ran out and took a quick shot). Easy mod to do, cost me $0.00 (I had the red tape), and can be removed in .05 seconds
I like how it looks...think it looks killer at night...

New Mod DIY Instructions (complex ...NOT)
1. buy Red Semi-Transparent Tape ($1.00)
2. Cut two pieces of tape approx. 1-1/4"
3. Place one piece of cut tape over the plastic cover of each license plate light.
4. Turn on lights and enjoy!
I have attached a picture if these instructions are too complex

You are talking about Stealth mode of your rear license plate, while at the same time you posted a picture of your car's rear revealing your license plate number to everybody? Gotta use a smudge tool to edit it out

Stealth, the car looks good. Where do you buy the tape? Also,if you are standing behind the car in the daytime,is the tape noticeable? I take it you purchased your car from an italian owned dealership? I would have made them take the italian flag symbol off .....

I actually had red semi-transparent tap in my garage..
my father brought it home one day years ago...I found it and figured I would see how red-ing out the lights would look. The tape is not visible during the day at all - since the lights are recessed underneath.
I am proud of my Italian heritage and around here displaying the Italian Flag represents that you are a part of 'the family'. Might sound wierd, but true.

I kind of figured that,I was just teasing you, but, thanks for the reply. :-)
My care is white,so,I am going to try that with white clear tape if I can find some.

I like the look. Doesn't look 'stealth' to me perse, but does look kinda evil in a 'good' way.
You should post a night, pic, though. Though with that much camera shake in a daytime pic a longer exposure night time shot is probably going to require you use a tripod or set the camera on some stable surface.
Er... if you're being serious... isn't the lighting pretty much white, anyway?
