Default Opinions please on new wheels

Has anyone seen these wheels before? They're from http://www.dcrwheels.com

My questions are:

1) Think it would look good on a GS350?

2) Have you seen a less expensive copy anywhere?

3) Is this wheel different from the Asanti (bottom), or is it the same with a different offset in the photos?

Are you kidding me? These wheels are almost 4k without tires. If I buy a copy at only 3k for wheels is that cheap?

On my LS430 I put real Lowenhart BR5's. But I've seen quite a few copies of that wheel that look identical to mine. Maybe the real BR5's are a few pounds lighter, plus I have the center caps that say Lowenhart. How much more is that worth?

How much is it anyway??

Cheap wheels doesn't always mean bad quality!!
Look how big I-Forged have grown now... They were simply HRE copies when they first came out few years ago...

Yea, unfortunately. 1k per wheel, or as low as $850 per wheel from the cheapest online source.

Not sure why but I prefer the DCR over the Asanti. Maybe I'm nitpicking.

thanks for the reply -

I think they look pretty sharp - and they'd look great on a GS IMO...

Trust me when I say that I have ALOT of experience with wheels. I'm not to sure about the other wheel (new to me), but DO NOT BUY ASANTI's!!! The wheel is not "cheap". It is very expensive but I believe Lexus_Kid meant that the wheels are "cheaply-made". If you don't have a reputable wheel shop that is above and beyond, Asanti's tend to be more difficult to mount due to their lip diameter inconsistancies. Their 22" wheels are the worst. The twenty's are just slightly better. There are just too many wheel manufactures out there today that throw together a 3-pc forged wheel line overnight and charge ridiculous amounts.

Keep in mind.. just because it is a 3-pc forged wheel does not mean it's "the $iht". There is much more to making a 3-pc forged wheel than just forging some parts and bolting them together.

Very true and I agree, its like every other minute a new "Z-FORGED, XYZ-FORGED, MYGRANDMA-FORGED" Line pops up. Although the more established current players may not be perfect their track record is well demonstrated. Alot of these other companies have nothing but dollar signs in mind ("Oh look, these 7series guys spend 7-8k on 22's with tires, lets start making forged wheels now!")

I have not done many Asanti sets but I have had pretty good sucess with them (I did a few 20" sets on CLS-55's)

For that mesh design I'd go with the ZONE 1 or ZONE 8 most likely

Funny you say that - It turns out the zone 1 wheel is what I was trying to find but didn't know the name of.

How long does it take to get a 19" or 20" set for a GS350?

Why would you want to criticize people for the choices they make with their car they used their money to pay for.

BTW, neither of these two are cheap.

You should NOT talk if you dont know anything about these wheels. They are actually very good quality and NOT cheap either.

I've heard good things about DCR, but interestingly enough, the only dealers i know that carry them are replica heavy dealers.
