Default Dilemma in choice

Whats up guys? I can't seem to make a decision between an old body style GS430 or a used new body style 06 GS300. Im considering the old 430 because I can get it for cheap and I know I wouldn't have to worry about reliability since lexus receives alot of praise for reliability. Now the materialistic side of me pushes me to the new Gs because afterall it is the new body style, and i like the newly designed interior much better than the old GS (i still like the interior of the old..just not as much). Ao basically its a toss up between power or newly designed features. somebdy help me before i pull my hair out over this

My advice is to wait and save for the GS350 that way you will have
the speed of the 430 and gas economy of the new model

Iwould love to wait for the GS350 but I dont really have that option because I have a 99prelude which recently broke down on me. So I need a new car now....but if my prelude has lasted a lil bit longer then i would have definitely waited until the 350's price dropped significantly

well i dont want to exceed 40 grand when purchasing a car, so thats why im lookin fora used gs300 or an old body stle 430. Ive been lookin on autotrader at 430's and found some 04's that go for 35 grand and even less, and thats with decent mileage too nothing above 50k

The 06GS's are definitely in the right price range, due to the poor resale value. Loaded 300s are in the $38k range. Check kbb.com.
But let me warn you, the 06's have issues. I've been through two of them. The 350 would really be the way to go if you could do it.
