Help!
So 6 months ago my driver side headlight shut off randomly while driving. I swapped the bulb to make sure it is a bulb going bad not the ballast.....after the swap bulbs now going bad on the passenger side, now it seems like its a bulb issue....so i waited another 6 months to replace the bulb due to the fact lights goes back on as long as i flickered the switch ON/OFF.
I replaced both bulb today with Xenon 6000k (D4C not D4S).......So the problem before was the passenger side bulb seems to be bad....after i installed the new bulbs on both side....after 5 minutes switched on....now the Driver side turns off? Could i have a bad brand new bulb or could it be another issue?
Any tips or help would be appreciative....thanks in advance.

Great post - job was fairly easy and took about 20 minutes to change both bulbs. I used the GARAX D4S 600K bulbs (Japanese) which were recommended on other posts. They are outstanding! Two quick tips:
1- Remove the washer fluid spout on the driver's side. It's one 10mm bolt and clears the path
2- The bulb will only seat well in one direction, but it sits loose in the socket until the spring clips are re-attached. Just hold the bulb in place while re-attaching the spring clips.
Dealer quoted $600 for two bulbs and labor - job took 20 minutes and the bulbs were $90 for the pair.

Are people doing this mod for the looks, or does it increase the forward visibility at night.
I am mostly interested for when my current bulbs go out. Right now they put out quite a bit of light onto the road, but if a better lighting option (MORE LIGHT) was available, im interested.
Need to see further ahead to spot that hidden pothole waiting to eat my rim.

Higher color temperature bulbs provide you with more color but less light. a 6000k D4S HID bulb is rated at approximately 20% less light than 4300k bulbs. We carry both higher kelvin D4S bulbs and OEM 4300k Philips D4S bulbs when you are ready (both at much less than what the dealer is charging).
