thanks for the welcome SilverSprt!
I am running my sirius thru the FM modulator now.The earlier Sirius units like mine had such strong transmitters that tuner fade is not an issue.Sounds really good, but I am no audiophile, mind you!
I plan on a factory type install sometime, but the advantage is that I can pull the reciever out anytime and transfer between vehicles or take it inside if needed.

Good stuff. I hope to get satellite radio sometime in my vehicle. I will be picking it up this will so I will share some pictures with the crew after I get it. I'm very anxious. BTW, how was your experience at Putnam? I visited stevens creek earlier last week. The salesmen didn't bother to approach us until after like 15/20 mins. I've never really liked that dealership. I did see a GFM there. I was debating on getting that color, but it hadn't grown on me as much as the Starfire Pearl. My current silversport is black so I didn't want to get another black of dark metallic grayish type color...I'm just a little bummed out that they don't build the Starfire Pearls with a black interior yet, although their marketing material says they do build them that way =[

wasted 2 hours there at stevens creek and no deal.Forget them!
I am glad I dealt with Putnam, they were very happy to deal with my complicated trades(2) and still wanted to make a deal.Same can't be said for S.C.
Also, forget about Magnussen's,seems like they're more interested in finishing thier new Mega size dealership across the street than helping he average joe customer which is what I am.
Maybe the dealership to try out is Coliseum in Oakland, wish I gave them a shot....

Now that Magnussen's is in their new building, its one hell of a dealership. I'll probably go there if/when i buy my 3GS, but its because of another reason that I'll leave those of you in this area to think about...

YOu are right. The new fremont Lex facility is huge. I took a tour and aside from their 24 hour service department, they have massage chairs, computers, area for pedicures etc.. It's really really nice.

I've shown my GS350 to two Mercedes owners and they both flipped out over the red walnut - absolutely loved it. It's a needed contrast - the black maple is nice but it would be too much black. Lexus needs a medium gray interior option - the ash is too light.

I was seriuosly considering a used GX there at a good price, went there twice to deal and the salesman could not even tell me if it's sold yet.
I had pen in hand ready to buy it,but to no avail...
That's why I will avoid Fremont Lexus..
But,everyone has a different opinion,so good luck if you choose them...
