^^ yah people do that for the reasons you described, but we all know they're not fooling us. The best i like to see is old 318i and 325i BMWs with M3 badges and bumpers as if we don't know what E36 M3 sideskirts look like.

I know its been done on other brands of vehicles also.
Kind of ridiculous to me, but whatever.
GS300 rebadging to GS350 or just hide the fact that you have a GS300? Be proud that you own such a nice luxury car in the first place. You can never catch up to the latest a greatest out there. Debadging is clean, but it also seems to others you are trying to hide that you bought the lowest end model of that vehicle which may or may not be the case.

I saw some of the Black Pearl emblems at www.lextasy.com and on Ebay.

I like to debadge so that waxing and cleaning are easier ;-) I hate spending the time to go around all the edges and the white powder that shows up when I get lazy ;-)

I agree with the waxing , much easier now.. I just think it looks much cleaner.. i've installed the little trunk spolier since this photo, looks even better now.

Also installed the carbon fiber insert in the front logo, looks sweet with Flint color..
