Target price for GS350
Just about to get started on negotiating for the new GS.
After some initial buzz about them going for MSRP, it seems that there are discounts to be had, at least for some.
Any thoughts on what a good deal (ie, how much of MSRP) would be a reasonable deal on the 350? Since invoice info is not widely available yet (at least I can't find it), it sounds like $ off sticker will be the metric for the time being.
I am not interested in grinding to the last nickel, just don't want to pay MSRP if I don't need to, obviously.

I would say since the MSRP hasn't risen (it has actually by the price of the optional moonroof in 2006 model, which is now standard), then it's reason to believe the invoice hasn't either from 2006 model, so you're looking at about $37800 invoice for the base model. With this, I would say $39-40K would be a good grab at this time. The GS350 just came out, so demand should be better for now than the outgoing model. If you waited longer to feel the market and demand slides, then I would think $500 above invoice is very possible at the right time. I'm sure you could pick up a late GS300 right now for probably invoice, if not better.

Well I stopped by a local dealer, and a fully-loaded '07 GS350 (AWD, Mark Levinson + Navigation, etc) had a total sticker price of $52,711. If you are set on a 350, you better pony up the cash to buy it are near sticker. No one is offering discounts on '07's, and probably won't until next year. Hope you are able to find a nice one!

the GS doesn't sell as well as the ES, and frankly its not much different than the 06. Most people arn't going to pay sticker just cuz its got a nicer engine. I think the 07 350 could be had for 500-750 above invoice. Its the price i'm shooting for. I just wish i knew what invoice price was!!

arent there like 3 or more threads covering this same topic? How about reading them and then if your answer isnt covered post a question...
Gets annoying to read a post that has the same question and then a bunch of people guess at an answer...

Logic would say that invoice would be $1000 more than last year, which was $37800, so this year it should be 38800. You can do Edmunds and get a good idea what invoice for each is based on 2006. I don't think Toyota is going to jack the invoice up but expect dealers to just take the MSRP to be the same and try to haggle/eat the difference.
