I have the Gen 4 in my GS and my father has the Gen 5 in his RX350. The difference is quite amazing. You will not want the Gen 4 after seeing the Hi Res screen. Also the new Nav allows you to input destinations by voice, while driving. You can also dial the phone by voice. This is not possible with the Gen 4.

Yes, much better graphics. I had an ES350 loaner as was amazed at the nav display on the gen 5...huge improvement.
