Yeah I had to use mine a while ago after I plowed a pothole and bubbled a run flat. Expensive pot hole! It is the ugliest thing I ever saw!! It's like 60's or 70's refrigerator color. Or maybe baby diarrea, whatever it is it's fugly!

Small trunk and a dinky spare...not a great combo in the current GS

Isn't there an option to get a full size spare on the GS300?

There are two good reasons for the space saver spare:
1) It's only for temporary use...it gets you to fix your tire asap.
2) It keeps off the unsprung weight in your vehicle.
Nowadays, tires are made very well that you rarely need to use your spare if any. Of the last 3 vehicles I have owned, I have never utilized the spare tire other than opening the trunk to look at it and check to see it's filled with the right amount of air pressure.

Not that I want to revive this thread from the dead but could someone here give me the tire size info off of the spare. As I have just switched to my winter tires and now need a spare tire but the tire size isn't in the manual nor the door pillar. Thanks
