I give up . I've tried everything and even burning another hybrid DVD. In all, I have pulled the TV fuse 17 times. I probably made a bad copy of the v5.1 loading.kwi file. Man, it'll be a long while until I might get another chance to make a copy of that file again. This sucks . Thanks for the help guys.

Drag & Drop ALL files from your v6.1 folder to ONES except LOADING.KWI. Drag & Drop LOADING.KWI from the v5.1 folder into the ONES project. Then burn it and that should be it!

in ONES, the DVD burn type needs to be [DVD Incremental - Closed], [ISO 9660 + UDF]. It can't be ONLY ISO 9660 (won't support files > 2 Gigs each) and it can't be ONLY UDF (the NavSystem can't read UDF only). I don't think Nero will burn ISO 9660+UDF, I think it will only do ISO 9660 or UDF which won't work. It has to be ISO 9660+UDF!

The checksums for the U30D v5.1 LOADING.KWI are as follows:
DVD PART NUMBER = 86271-53020, 464210-0629
The checksums for the U31D v6.1 LOADING.KWI are as follows:
DVD PART NUMBER = 86271-53021, 464210-0790

DVD/NAV/Phone/etc. override/mod for 2007 GS 450h
I've read through the forum and seen overrides for '06 GSs...but I have yet to find an override so that I could play DVDs, fully use the navigation/destination menus, the phone, etc. while driving. I would really like to get this going as it makes more sense to dial from the car than from my phone and playing DVDs on the road would be very nice for my passengers. Can anyone help me out? I would love to get this going.
Thanks!
Ryan
Thanks!

Radar Help
Picked up a new GS this morning Traded in my ES 350 after multiple transmission issues. In any case I would like to wire in my V1 directly to the overhead console. Has anyone taken the shell off the headliner to expose the power tap points? The ES was easy since there was a plug by the mirror to access. I don't want to pry this off and end up breaking any plastic clips or retainers.

@PDG: Welcome to GS side, my friend!!! Its much better in here
Check out this link. Kuch123 tapped his X50 into overhead console, so he would be able to help you. I tapped mine into sig lighter. Either way, you will find a lot of info in there:

& thanks for the tip. I will slice in to the rear view mirror wire bundle & find my power tap.
What a sweet ride!

... and yes, this is a happier place. Dash rattles is the common problem in here, mostly with last year models. Right now with my GS350 AWD, the worst problem I have is very occasional random dash creaks here and there in the morning while going over potholes or speed bumps when temperature below 30. I can live with that

Helpful hint on washing/waxing the car
I noticed on the 2007 (dunno about earlier dates) models, The side of the car has a chome type trim at the very bottom. I ad the hardest time washing and waxing UNDER that trim since it sticks out and you cant reach the bottom of the painted door.
Turns out if you OPEN the door, the trim moves with the door and viola! The hard to reach painted part of the door is right there by the footstep. So much easier than trying to was and wipe unde the trim.

I don't use wax that have heavy dust. I use Meguiar's NXT and P21s for when I have time. The P21s goes on SOOO easy to remove is just as easy. The Meguiar's NXT seems to last longer on the car. a bit harder to put on. But just as easy as the P21s to take off.
Hmm that sounded confusing.. The P21s is easy on and off. The Meguiar's NXT is just a bit harder to rub on, but easy to take off.
The P21s and Meguiar's NXT looks the same on my gold finish. But I think the P21s feels smoother, and considering this is a wax, thats not a bad thing as waxes tend to grip more than a glaze.
