Default Changing running lights and fog lights with blue bulbs?

I would like my running lights and fog lights to be blue-white like zenon. I read one guy put yellow film over his fog lamps to change the color, but I was wondering if the actual bulb can be replaced with a blue-white one? Anyone know the specs of these blubs? Can they just be replaced with different color bulbs?

I went to check em out online at http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...Comparison.htm

Would the Silverstar's look most uniform with the HID's compared to the "Cool Blue"? Did you replace your DRL and Fog's with the Silverstar's?

I thought the high beam and DRL were the same bulb(9005).I put siverstars in and the DRLs are still yellow.I did have success with the small running lights switched to LEDs in a blue tint.

I looked at the Sylvania website. It shows the 9006ST SilverStar lamp to be the replacement for the Driving Lamp.

No I meant the secondary headlights next to the main headlights that run during the day.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the reason the DRLs look yellow is they are running at a lower voltage than the bulb is rated at. This allows for longer bulb life.

This is correct, the stock bulbs are lower watts thus the yellowish color. However you can get after market bulbs with much higher watts that are yellow because they are colored that way.
The Sylvania Silverstar bulbs is an option but I am looking at others to find the right colors for me.
Take a look at some of the bulbs\LED's from this site.

If you guys have other sites to look at please post threads as well.

how difficult is it to reach down there and change the DRL>?
is it like any other headlight buld on other cars?
i remember doing this alot in the import racer days

I call these the running lights or parking lights. They come on when your main lights are on or when your parking lights are on.I think the bulb is a 194.I replaced with a small LED.

Now these are not the lights that come on during the day.I replaced those with 9005 silverstars. The day lights are still yellowish but my brights are much better.
Heres a pic.
