Chipped plastic on head unit... replaceable part?
Anyone know if it's possible to replace just the plastic part circled in red in the picture? I somehow mananged to chip a small piece of it just to the left of the hazard button while removing the head unit. Not sure how that happened as the shifter was covered with a towel. It was too late to call the Lexus service department when this happened and they won't be open until Tuesday because of Christmas.

That part looks like it's part of the screen. I doubt if you can get a replacement for it. The dealer may need you to order the entire screen. Hopefully it's part of the switch assembly and is available seperately.

So they said they're still not sure whether only that once piece of plastic trim could be replaced. They're checking in with Lexus Corporate but they are closed until Tuesday, so they'll get back to me. *Crossing fingers*

If it isn't one piece of trim then I would tell them the whole thing needs to be replaced. They will do it. It is no problem as long as you dIdn't tell them what you did. They would rather make you happy then cause a problem. If you have a problem PM me.
