dealer called the car I want merc/silver grey, gs300 coming in on next allocation, I do not want run flats. Does car have enough power. I drove both 300 & 430 from dealership to my home, I found 300 more pleasant as 430 was always making engine exhaust sounds, gs300 has same 0-60 times as my 2000 bmw mt 528. But it is much queiter. Should I wait for gs350? not sure extra hp will do much. Also not sure about black wood with grey, I like the natural color wood better. Any of you have gs300 and can advise me?. Thanks

Get it now & enjoy it if you like it & if you think the extra hp is not important. 1 1/2 years is too long of a wait. Or you could consider a short lease maybe ?

Get the grey interior with the blackwood and ill trade you the wood from a black interior. Ill pay all the shipping charges and charges for taking out the wood and reinstalling it. Ill send you $100 now as a deposit as well. I really want the blackwood interior with black leather like my old GS.

I am waiting for the 350, but that is because I don't need it now anyway. Go for the 300 and enjoy. I don't expect much HP gain.

Hope all goes well. And I do agree on the wood, I like the natural colored wood better. Personally it brings out the luxury of the car adding color. But, I can see how others may like the black wood.

. . . which means switching the steering wheels too, since all 3GS in USA comes with wood steering wheels as standard right ?

Yup switching the wheel too. I did it on my old car so this shouldnt be hard. He can have the dealer do all the work.
