Default GS460 is it( true or false).

I was at the lexus dealership were i purchase my GS, and i had a chat with my sales guy, i had mention the GS460 to him, and he told me that it is real, and it should arrival sometime by next year with 370hp. What i want to know is if this for real, and not some hype, because i'm really not feelin the new 06 GS430 at all except interior.

Default GS450h for sure and GS460 likely after that

The GS450h should arrive on our shores in May '06 as an ''07 model. It will be announced at the end of this month. That may be followed by a larger displacement V8 in a 4.6 Liter hence the GS460 moniker. I wouldn't expect any styling changes so I'm not sure if you will be feeling the 460 either.....

Yes, they already registered the trade mark for the GS460, so it's going to come.

I went to another Lexus dealer yesterday, & they happen to have a leftover 05 GS sitting next to the new 06 GS in the showroom. I looked at them, & while there may be some styling elements in the old one that one may like better than the new (for me the taillights for example), & the new one may look bulkier, but you can see the improvement in the quality of the finish inside & out. Overall the old one has nothing on the new one in terms of appearance in stock form IMO, & I never thought that until I' ve seen them together in person.

so is that why you changed your screen name. SexySC didn't like the 06 , but AmethySC does
I'll admit the outside looked better in person, but I'm still not in awe. I won't be changing my name anytime soon
