Default Help with Tinting my 430

What shade of tint should I use? Or is there a better brand of tint?. I've heard that 3m
is the best. Any help would be great.

Well not sure what tint laws are in your state but here in GA, the law is 32% or higher is fine. Of course many don't get any problems with lower tint.

Once you go to reputable shop or place, it should not be a problem and cost around $200 to get done. Maybe also ask the regional forum in your area.

3M is very good but hard to find and sometimes pricey. SolarGard Films are great too. Have had SolarGard Films on my current car and my last 3 vehicles. I have never had any color fade (into purple) or problems. You should check your local tint shops and even ask the dealership who they use for tinting. Install quality is always what seperates a great tint job to an okay tint job.

Check this link for your local tint laws: I believe Arizona is 33% for the front door windows and any tint shade for the rear.

http://www.solargard.com/index.cfm?f...oose_Film_Auto

The lower the percentage, the lower the amount of light transmitted through the film.

Don't forget to show us the results. That's gonna look hot when it's done. Windshield too huh? That's instant trouble for us here in CA.
