Club Lexus - a Great Place
Just picked up my new '06 GS 300 blk on cashmere, and I'm loving it.
I struggled with getting the BMW530i, then went to purchase the Audi A6, but really wanted the luxery feel that my then current 98' GS 300 had. Found a reasonably close dealer who had just the car.... as I was driving to sign the deal on the Audi. Sure glad I stopped by that dealer!
What I like about the German cars was the User interface "joystick" approach. A cool toy. Also the Audi has a very light cream beige interior, but they were smart enough to use a black carpet, which really set the seats off nice. Somewhat of a custom look. Liked it so much, I'm investingating swapping the carpet on the new '06 for the black.
Sure each car has its pro's and con's, but the Lexus is reliable and holds its value.
I run a huge forum for sportbike motorcycles, so I decided to seek some Lexus sites, and stumbled here. Another great move. Nicely run forums, with a wealth of info.
Can't wait to find the hack to play the DVD. I didn't even know it could play video DVD - salesguy neglected to tell me , so now I'm happy.
Will be looking for some wheels. Anyone ever see the Lexani line?

Thanks for the welcome!
I ride mostly sportbikes - Honda CBR900RR / Kawi 1000 / Gixxer 1100 - just don't ride as often as I used to.
I run SportbikeS.com. If you ever need any help around here, let me know. I use UBBThreads, vBull & PhpBB as forums there and on different bike sites.
I'll also check out the SoCal group here.
