Yes, Friday nite, we came back at 8pm, worked a deal and bought the white one. The silver one did NOT have the ML/NAV. It too is now gone. The black one on the showroom floor is an '04, not an '05 or '06. They are supposed to be getting more in sometime in the next couple of weeks, but don't know for sure.
A funny thing happened too. When we came back at 8 that nite, while we were writing up the deal, another man came back with his wife and they wanted the white one we bought. We were originally going to come back Saturday morning, but decided, aw what the heck, let's do it now. Now I'm glad we did.
Hang in there, there will be more.

Lexus Test Driver
Damn!!!You are one lucky guy...what was the total msrp??Also a funny thing happened when I was there. My SC was parked in the lot that they have there and a lady actually walked up to my car, opened the door and sat in my seat ,not realizing that the car belonged to someone already. She asked around for a test drive and when she opened the trunk she saw 2 giant amplifiers.Feeling stupid...she slowly figured what she was doing and quickly realized it was someones car.I approached her and told her that I had spotted her from a distance but wanted to see how long it took her to realize that the car was not a used car on the lot.We had a good laugh and I feel good that my car being 13 years old still gets admiration.

carminesc-I think I might have a connection on the DVD override. I have to confirm it the new GS is the same as the GX or LS.
This week I am going to take it to a guy that has done my past Landcruisers. He said he just did one on a LS and it was completely different than years past.
Not knowing the car was out he did not want to commit to how much time or money it would be.
When I know more I will let you know.

New to this site
New to this forum. Got my new GS on 2/28
1. GS430
2. Flint
3. Ash Interior
4. Loaded
5. 18" 5 Spoke Chrome
This forum was very very helpful as I did my research on the new GS. I have been driving Lexus since my 92 ES (184K miles) that I traded in 1998 to my Silver GS400. I have 317,000 miles on my 98 GS and it still drives like it did the day I bought it thanks in great part to my local dealer.
After driving my new GS fro a few days I can't get over how much more sporty it looks and feel as compared to my 98 GS. From the moment you touch that START button the engine growls to life and begs to be driven. Cornering with VDIM is incredible. The NAV was easy to use and the backup camera is great. I was concerned about the battery on the Fob failing leaving me stranded but I saw in the manuals (which are huge) that if the battery fails you can position the Fob within a few inches of the START button and it will work. The DVD tutorial that comes with the NAV is a big help.
Again thanks for all the great help and I look forward to contributing in the future.

Post a few pics if you can. I don't think anyone has posted a GS430 with chrome wheels here yet.
BTW, welcome to CL!
