Iwish they offerd graphite gray pearl like they did on the 02 GS sportDesign, and on the current IS sedan.


NOW THAT IS A COLOR!!!! I think it is the best color i have ever seen and it looks probably the BEST on sedans and sport sedans.

Flint Mica is just like the Graphite Gray. Almost identical to each other. Definately worth a closer look.

Now I just have to see the SC430 in the amethyst? Did they make many of those?

I see a few on occasion on my morning commute to Orange County. This one has Keyes Lexus plates and aftermarket 5 spoke rims. That's definitely a beautiful SC430 color. Definitely have to see it in person to appreciate it.

Just wondering if the exterior and interior color choices are the same for all 3 models. We like the Glacier Frost, Crystal White or Quartz Shadow with the Ivory interior.

Hello! Welcome to CL. Not all interior color choices are available with all the exterior colors. You'll probably have better luck getting Ivory interior w/the Crystal White, as that is already available on other Lexus models.

Before we focused on the new GS my wife and I were leaning to the LS430. Great car but she wanted something with a nice ride but more "sporty". So it looks like the GS is the ticket.

The LS had Moonlight Pearl and Crystal White with Cashmere or Ecru. But nothing called Ivory. I see the GS does not have Moonlight Pearl but does have Glacier Frost (I assume similar).

I was just wondering if you could get the same colors on the GS 300 or the GS430.

It used to be call "Ivory", but now it's called "Cashmere". basically it's a tan leather. "Glacier Forest" is more pearl-y, much like the "Blizzard Pearl" on our LX470 and GX470. "Glacier Forest" is on both GS300 and GS430, but the interior colors are "Ash" (grey) or "Black". If you want the "Cashmere", then "Crystal White" might be more up your alley.

Thanks for the replies. Being new to Lexus I might have confused the issue. I picked up the colors from the post in this very thread by "1siclexus" in which he posts the GS exterior and interior colors. He lists Glacier Frost and Crystal White for exterior white colors and Ivory as the interior light tan.

That's why I was confused. Is Ivory just old terminology or a different color than cashmere.

But you're right Liz, based on our interior preference Crystal White might now be our frist choice.

That was the terminology of the vehicles a few months ago. The interior colors have since been named.

2nd, Glacier Frost with Ash and 3rd Quartz Shadow with Ash.

Crystal White is a white with a tiny bit of pearl in it and the Cashmere is a tan leather.

So now that I have made up my mind. Here are my choices

I would like first

Quartz Shadow - Ash Interior

Flint Mica - Ash interior

And actually there are equal but if they take the same amount of time to come my 1st preference is the quartz! Yes Elizabeth, I have changed my mind for the last time! That is my order and I am sticking to it!
