I talked with the Omaha dealer and one of the sales guys claimed he has all the information on the GS already. I told him that was impossible, but this is what he told me.
It will be look just like the spy pictures (but with door handles), they will be AWD and the engines will be the same as currenly produced. He said most likely only AWD on the V6 not the V8, and his impression was that the rims would remain th same size. But the price would increase due to the restyle. Probably 3-5K.
RX will be the same but $5000 more due to hybrid technology.
I actually do not belve all of this, I can not wait to see the actual thing. These guys in Omaha are usually always incorrect, well at least my experience with them shows this.

I just hope the LF-S is indeed the new GS - I just love that car and even with some minor modifications to make it to production, it will still be one of the best looking cars on the road!!

I have seen it, it has to be the GS, since all others are displayed.
The front looks like the LF-S, but I am not sure about the roofline/back (seems a little high)
We will know Tuesday morning

I just checked it out, and I'm all set. I noticed as the camera panned around way in the back was a car mostly covered by a tarp, but showed the left front wheel and part of the front bumper.......Was that the new GS??? Based on what I could see it looked a LOT like the LF-S. Has anyone else seen the cam feed yet???

Lexus Champion
Looking at the same feed from Detroit and I see a car under a red cover on a platform.. The base of the platform looks like it says WORLD PREMIERE.. Could that be the new GS or is that from another car maker beside Lexus..
Also the HPX looks pretty cool too..

No the red tarp is Ferrari, and I agree with DaveGS the tarp is off and it is not the GS
I guess they do not have it on display as of yet, Tuesday seems to be the first day they will show it
I do hope it looks like the LF-S with some minor cosmetic changes it would kick butt

The Lexus GS330 being introduced this week actually shines a spotlight on the driver's seat when you unlock the doors. "We're trying to create a sense that the car is anticipating your feelings," says designer Simon Humphries. Interior specialist Johnson Controls goes one better, equipping its concept with a dashboard mood screen. Turn up the heat and a roaring fire fills the screen. Flip on the air conditioner and virtual snowflakes fall
