Nice pics. The tails are very original for a GS, how do the lights illuminate over the smoked out lenses?
I know what you mean. I should get talking with local farmers, I can help them summon rain when there's a dryspell.

At night the tail lights are really cool looking, not too bright. During the day they work alright ,unless the sun is right on them, then you can't see the turn signal very well. Brake lights are brighter/bigger though, so they work out just fine. I liked the thought of smoked tail lights, kinda mean lookin.

They put a tint film over the lights and then put them in an oven (low temp) and it sucks down and tinting is done. I took them to my local VW/Honda performance shop to have done. Took a day and $125 to do. Veryhappy with the results.

It's not really black, more like a dark red (it just shows up as black on the computer) And yes it is legal becuase the tailights still function as they were intended.. Just not as bright. Still bright enough. Even with the tint over them I have seen older cars that the lights were not as bright on.

Thanks JAC JZS. Some people love it and others hate it. It is one of those touchy, personal preference type thingies. I am with you though!

Put me in as another Jade Green GS4 owner. I have to say, I bought the car because I was in a real rush for a car, but the green is not my favorite color. I looked to trade in for another color but it's not worth the financial hit.
What happened to LexusRules? He (or his mom) had a green GS.
