The player makes no sound and the cd's were put in properly which is what makes me think maybe a fuse somewhere? I don't know where to start looking to be honest

I would start by unplugging the battery for a hour at least and then put it back. I have got rid of some electrical gremlins in the past by just a simple battery restart. You never know....

I've always thought the lexus cd players were *** backwards. Just to confirm: you did put the CDs in upside down. Shiny side up. All your problems (with the exception of the cartridge not ejecting) can be explained by the CDs being put in shiny side down.

The ejecting might just be that you're not holding eject for long enough. If it's none of these then maybe something is jammed or broken. You might be better off just replacing the unit if that's the case. You can find an OEM cd player for $70 on ebay.

Thanks for the answers guys,cd's were 110% put in correctly I'm absolutely positive,I hold the eject button down and it does nothing whatsoever, might try the battery idea later, either way my sub is ****ed anyways so if the CD player is also ****ed I'll just buy a replacement along with a new sub
