Did you at least flush out the lines? If it was dirty, you will need to replace your drier because its been contaminated again; that crap is coming from the compressor being circulated throughout the A/C system, if heavy dirt came out, your compressor could be on its way out. How's your A/C condenser, is it dirty and/or has damaged fins? If so, replace that thing, its the most important part of your A/C system.

Yeah, I forgot to ask about the high and low pressure readings. What do they read?

The reading for the high side a really low, should be a lot higher than that. The low is good depending on the temps, because the psi fluctuates with the temps. But sense you change your compressor, that could be a reason why. Was those numbers read with the engine running? If you can, what's your gauge reading with the new compressor?

Glad to know its working again though, its a great feeling, but hopefully you flushed your lines and replaced your drier if there was contaminants in the lines, becuse dirty lines will mess up the drier and kill your new compressor. I learned my lesson twice. Lol!
