Is it worth it to fix 2001 GS300 Front End Damage
Hey I'm new to the group,
To make a long story short, wife got into an accident with my 01 GS300. Looks like I will need a new bumper, fender and housing for the lights. I wonder if anyone has any idea on the cost for this kind of damage. I included some pics

Really depends if your comfortable swapping the parts yourself or not, and also how perfect you want it to look, replacing those parts and painting them wouldn't be too expensive, but you'd still be looking at around a grand I'd imagine, hopefully nothing else is bent. If you're lucky you may even find the hood, fenders or bumper in factory silver on eBay or a junkyard.

to me it looks like there is going to be additional damage behind the headlamp the radiator support is probably tweaked it may be able to be repaired depending on how bad it is bent. there are factory measurements that reference where the Rad supp should be. the give you just an idea. bumper hood and headlamp are easy swap the difficulty comes in the structural work. ill post the measurement and you can get a rough idea if its pushed back or out of wack.

also check the steel bumper reinforcement behind the bumper cover they get bashed up in the accident most of the time. your best bet is have a body shop take a look at it for a free estimate or just to give you an idea of how much work. here are the underhood measurements.

I recently just fixed my 99 gs. Bought a jdm front clip and had it painted to match my car and installed. Had to replace the radiator support. Sometimes i think it i should have bought a new gs but i love that thing so much i couldnt let it go! Haha. And go to a autobody shop and see how much it'll cost to fix it.
