Default 99 gs400 engine

I recently blew my engine on my 99 gs 400 the mechanic is installing the new engine any suggestions on the procedure or anything I should let the mechanic know that'll the help the process ?

If he's taken on the task of installing the engine one would assume he knows what he's doing.

Your right but I've read alot of good info on here on this type of car. So I figured the cl specialist might have some insight

hahahaha Yeah not prejudging your mechanic's capability, but I would research any mechanic's history of work before I let them tackle on a rebuild/swap. There's too many mechanics out there with false confidence who don't know jack **** and end up leaving you with a bigger headache.

Swap out the timing belt and water pump?

+1 on doing the timing belt/water pump/other belts/spark plugs/etc before you install the new motor, as it's much easier to do with the engine out.
