They're going to stick out a bit until you lower it.
I just can't wrap my head around NOT lowering the car before fitting the wheels. Of course, mine was on coilovers within 48 hours of finishing the paperwork.
I think the 265/35-20 is a bad idea due to the overall diameter. It's just too tall - I don't care much for that look on the 2GS.
255/30-20 + 275/30-20 would be good options but will look a little odd when the car is not lowered.
I run 255/30-20 with 20x10.0" On the front of mine and I would not want any more stretch.
245s will be quite stretched.

Keep in mind id like to put the coilovers on next year,is 245 too much stretch for daily driving? I already mastered dodging potholes in this car as I know they have issues with the front suspension and I'd like to prolong the life of it any way possible,so FOR NOW do you think that a 245/30/20 front and a 255/30/20 rear will work without rubbing? I know it's kind of hard to give me a 100% positive answer but I'm really excited to do something to the car besides oil changes and peeling tint off every light on the car (previous owner was a d-bag).

I agree with SoCalSC4 about lowering a car before putting the wheels on. Plus, if the car's not lowered the stretched tires look ridiculous.
Anyway, I'd do a 255/285. I've ran a 255/30 and am currently running a 275/30 on my 20x11s. The 255's came off within a week (the stretch just looked ridiculous to me).

Ok... with the sizes you're planning:
- If on stock suspension you won't rub.
- If lowered yes, you'll rub front and rear. Roll the fronts, shave the rears, and with a bit of camber you'll be fine (the natural camber our cars gain from lowering "should" suffice but more may be needed in the rear).

Lower, wheel specs, tire specs, shave/roll, camber as needed. You wont get the results you want if you think you can just throw on coilovers based on a 20" setup that worked with stock setup... it will take more work to get there. More work is more money. If money wasn't the issue it would already be lowered. Everyone is saying lower it first because it makes sense it's what we would do... most do it all at the same time lower,wheels,tires and then fine tune.

I completely forgot another option, if you want to keep the wheels and the dish, you can always change the offset by shaving the hub from behind the wheel. I believe its like $50 or less per wheel (I think less) this will give you a less aggressive offset to work with as well as an offset easier to find info on

The reason I'm not lowering the car this year is due to cost mainly,hoping on purchasing a house next month and I support a family so money is a bit tight,brand new pbm coilovers are 1250$ usd and I'm from Canada and our dollar is **** right now so in other words if I want to go the route I'd ideally like to go then it's going to cost me quite a bit,I ordered tires today(492.17$)got some varrstoen lug nuts and I'm going to have the tires mounted and balanced for 60$ hopefully next Friday,I think I'm goin to get the fenders rolled and shaved by the end of the month as I have 3 pay periods this month so basically a full cheque to "toy" with and the fender modification with rust prevention is only about 300$ to have done professionally by a local shop,my only major expense now is coilovers and I want the best bang for my buck as I previously stated money is quite tight,I ordered 245/35/20 front (closest size I could get a good deal on) and 275/30/20,hopefully the stretch doesn't look too weird for the time being and I'm HOPING to achieve coilovers this year but I'm not sure I'll get there,I want to vinyl my roof gloss black and get my tint redone in that nice aqua shade that benzes have and those 2 things will cost around 600$ to have done properly,you guys might think my priorities aren't in the right place but this is just how I want to go about it,I know some of you don't agree with fitting the wheels first but I'm just really excited to be working on my car,I've been driving a boring lincoln aviator for the past 3 years and finally got this thing to play with. Anyway I'll end that run on sentence and I appreciate all of your guys' help
