I thought about this for my Honda but also looked into the pastidip. Was curious which one I should go with? The plastdip looked easy for DIY and last like 2-3 years if done right and taken care of from what I've seen. Seeing these pictures though has me looking at the vinyl now.

I haven't used Plastidip myself but I've had friends who do it and its the cheapest, most basic, simplest way to change your cars' color VS repainting or wrapping. that being said vinyl is very doable and very learn-able and if you have patience.

Not that i know of... but if there was the vinyl wouldn't be straight, it would look more like a shell... curved and played with already... because around the edges you have to heat it to get it to conform over the sides... a pre-cut wrap can't conform perfectly and will leave you with creases which are a pain in the azz to work with... Thats why you need excess... to pull the tension out which causes the creases...

I DONT need the money... Im just here to help... What size is your roof?... I might have a piece i can send you for free.

You should plasti dip it, follow @561_devin and check out his crazy color. Plasti dip colors are endless and they have a gloss now

that is another option. but the vinyl will withstand the element better.

Plasti dip is a lot more durable than most people think, plus it's cheaper and easier than wrap

Yes that's true one little drop will eat straight through it 😞 but they sell gas guards for like $5 that protect any drips

it would work but that would just be double the money. the reason I like plasti dip is because it's cheap, durable, the colors are literally limitless and you can change it whenever you want.
