Default P1651 fault (VSV) Vacuum switching valve

Hi guys,

I have searched and I know what this code is, I know what's causing it and what the item is that needs replacing, my problem is this.....

What is the part number?

I have found what I need on RockAuto, but it states that this part is for American and Canadian vehicles. I have emailed them to find out if this item is vehicle specific, but I cannot see why they would use a different part for different markets.

If anybody has some information that would be great. I know this is a 4 to 6 hour job, but I can do it at home and I'll replace the gaskets that I remove, mainly throttle body and inlet manifold. I just want to be able to pin down the part number so I can get it ordered.

Thanks.

ACIS Switch Valve 25860-62010

To verify part number should be printed on the VSV itself.

I don't know what motor you are referencing, but 4 to 6 hour seams a bit much...

Hi Frank,

I thought the time seemed too much but that's what most people online were saying it took Lexus to fit. I haven't got the item off the car yet and trying to find a part number in the UK is a joke, you'd think Lexus employees had signed an official secrets act!

The car runs well and I need to use her so I cannot take the TB and the inlet manifold off just to check the part number. That may be my only resort but I've posted this on a UK forum too, so fingers crossed I get lucky!

Thanks dude.

I am trying to upload a pdf file. It shows you where it is, but basically it's under the inlet manifold.

COMP.PDF

It's on page 3 on the above pdf.

Yes sir. Which makes finding the part number a pain in the ****!!

I may bite the bullet and buy the US part and fit it. I cannot see it being different, but it's annoying that I cannot be 100% sure!

The intake come off as one complete assembly, no need to unbolt anything but the lower intake to cylinder head.
In the picture you can see your VSV

Frank, thank you so much dude. It seams as though we had a different part number over here, but at least you've confirmed that it is the part I've been looking for. Thanks!

*Edit* So you left the throttle body on too?

You can even leave the fuel line and coolant lines hooked up. All that needs to be done is lift the intake high enough. Intake gaskets will be in very good shape and you my choose to reuse them.

If you wish to completely remove the intake, this opens up a perfect opportunity to refurbish your starter with new contacts.

Good luck

Thanks Frank. I'll look into my options and see what else I can do. I may just change the VSV for now and the gasket, all depends on funds. Spent a lot this month and it's only the 3rd haha.
