Did you use any hight temp paint or just primer and normal paint with wet sanding at the end?

Thanks.

From everything I've read there's no need for high temp paint, just did the covers in mine with normal paint (primer, base, clear) but the cars in storage so I can't attest to how it handles the heat for a few more months.

Came out nice Sean!

Thanks Kyle. I just thought about what I posted. The cover is plastic anyway, so clearly high temp paint isn't needed lol.

Yeah like kyle said, i dont believe theres a need for high temp paint, what i used was etching primer. Duplicolor onxy black, and spray max 2k clear.

Thanks! When you nearly killed me posting pictures of your car, it inspired me and my simplicity side kicked into OD and i thought of color matched covers... Lol

I like that a lot. I like clean or sleeper setups. I wish I could get my hands on an engine cover. Mine was missing when I got it. I'd like to do something like this to the aged covers and break out my powder coating gun for some metal parts later on. Easy to clean and durable.
