i think they are just changing the way you order from them. On March 1, the old site will redirect you to their new site. Not sure if CL discounts still apply or not. I got an email from them this morning.

Tony,

We will honor all orders placed while the website is still active – through February. Ironically, the new website they have listed loops back to our current one, so we’re not sure what adjustments will be made to that – but the parts will be priced on a retail basis with flat-rate shipping. We appreciate your business – sorry for the change.

Best regards,

Sewell Parts Team

Edit: Sewell will honor all orders up until March 1st... Time to stock up on filters and any other maintenance items you can... We will hard pressed to find deals like these anywhere else.. GL

sounds like someone else is taking over?

Interesting to see how it's all going end up after the change. I also wonder about the flat rate price.

Thanks for posting the update.

Too bad I'm too lazy to copy all the blow ups of all the parts. For me that was the most helpful part.

Are there any other sites like sewell? Not even for the discount but having the pictures with all the small little parts and bolts etc was very helpful. I read on the IS forum that Lexus NA wanted them to close, which is really sad if it's true, forcing us to pay dealer prices for oem parts. Really hope they come back or another site takes its place.

It was a sad day this morning as i put my last order in at Sewell... I'm sure my Credit Card thanks me lol but i couldn't pass up the prices on caster arms, filters, motor mounts, etc... Don't forget to print off the diagrams for part numbers.. It makes it easier when searching online..

Default With Sewell Closed, Where to Get Door Lock Actuator?

My door lock actuator stopped working on the passenger side rear door.

Does anyone have any recommendations on where to get a replacement? Also, does anyone know of a how-to?

Thanks a lot guys!
