Default My GS400 ooh that feeling :D

Hey ClubLexus,

First of all, this forum is the best platform for Lexus owners and it has never disappointed me. i'm visiting this forum since 2013. You can get tons of correct info from well experienced folks which is a lot better than getting your @$$ ripped by the workshops.

NOW. I've purchased 2001 GS400 recently. This is my second Lexus GS and the car is imported from japan car runs like a beast. Not a single mechanical issue or what so ever. Stock paint but needs polishing. I'm falling in love with this car again and again

I have had such a great experience with everything with ClubLexus
I am really happy and wanted to share

I doubt its a Japan spec, I was told that no v8 cars were made for Japan.

No, sir. This car is registered as 2001 GS400 and it is GS400(1UZ) not GS430(3UZ) which is kinda crazy

Thanks for your concern for me but Yes, it is imported from Japan. No, it's not an Aristo because it has N/A 1UZ not 2JZ TWIN, interior clearly belongs to Lexus, Aristo never came LHD unless you change it with GS3 or GS4; which is considered one hell of a sin here in this country(F***ing Road Laws)
This car came with legal documentation which clearly said it's a Lexus GS400

I bought this car from one of my friend's friend(dealer) and bought it for more than i'm supposed to pay for this car, only because of it's condition and mileage.

I have seen how cars are registered in foreign countries and it's not always accurate, but you can post the VIN if you like and then it's easy to decode what it really is and where it came from. My guess is that it is a US spec car reverse imported to Japan and then to you.

It basically can only be a canadian or US car.

Or possibly Germany etc.

He already stated is a 1UZ.

There are other ways to tell as well, steering wheel, dash ( center speaker) etc. etc.

AWWWWW yes good ol Dubai, i used to work there as an expat,i used to rip the gs400 i had sent from the us down sz road and emirates road all the time as the max speed limit was 90mph!!!

i swear i saw more ls430's and gs400's there then i have seen in the us.They get alot cars there direct from japan due tothe 30k miles limit law, also j spec, also very easy to find spare parts there from wrecking yards in shariah
