Hold off for a GS400 or Gs430. No reason not to since the mpg is the same as a GS300 and an extra 80+hp. Continue to build funds till you can get one. The V8s are rare but they do pop up for sale right when you think it is hopeless.

I dont know to much about these cars. But i do know is my buddy had a gs300 in 99 that i fell in love with and have wanted one since. Are the 400s bigger body wise than the 300s or is the motor the only distance. I have found and immaculate 99 gs400 with 200000 miles for 6300. Worth it? Im nervous about miles. 200000 seems.to be a lot. And 6300 is a lot to pay for a car that may last another 75000 miles. Thats where im stuck. I coulddve already bought one. I have the cash and a variety to choose from. But mileage, cleanliness, and price all need to coincide and theyre not.

the only difference between a gs300&gs400/430 is the motor.

Less not forget white on black unicorn!

If you can find out what exactly happened with it and conclude that its not very bad and has been properly and/or adequately repaired... Go for the Unicorn!!!

Oh and if you want power, go for the 400 (sporty) or 430 (luxury), its worth the extra, or rather less, 2 miles per gallon.
