I've seen threads about the '98-'00 tails with orange removal - can it be done with factory '01+ tails? What modifications are possible for our tails to modernize them a tad?

Unfortunately, no. The orange portion on '01+ tails are built in to the outer lense.

I love them! Lol. I compared them to the JP tails in person and I gotta say mine look more OEM'ish. Quality is great and you can replace the bulbs like oem. I've had them for more than a year with no issues.

Nice. Do you just keep the OEM inner lights then? Doesn't look like any difference. What'd you pay for them and where did you source them, if I may ask?

Yup kept the inners stock, I bought them off another member on here. Less than Half the price of the JP's. If your interested I'll shoot you his info.

I didn't know non-LED Depo tails existed, Carlos. I thought JP were the only option?

That's what I thought too. But I did some searching and I found Kazz also makes them but the bottom clear part looks more plasticly. Then a member on here hit me up about the Depo's and said he can get them from Japan.
