Default First Electrical Glitch - Shes not innocent anymore

Hi guys.

We've had some pretty crazy humid hot weather here these last two days, and yesterday as I was walking away from my car I noticed something odd. When I hit the lock button on my key, there was no beep but I still heard the doors locked. I stopped and paused for a second and i heard a faint sound almost like a door locking or unlocking. I checked all the doors and sure enough the right rear door was unlocked. Just making sure this wasn't a one off I unlocked the car via the button and locked again. Again no beep and the door unlocks a second later. The odd part is it seems to be in hot weather only, as when driving around last night once it cooled down, it locked fine, with the beep and everything. I'm going to be pretty busy until January now so it's quite perfect timing, so I won't be able to take the trim off and investigate, but if anyone had this or a similar problem what was your remedy? Was it the actuator or something more sinister? The door remains locked once opened and locked from the inside.

Thanks for your help.

Yea possibly the actuator. Since mine went out, I've experienced the same symptoms. Doesn't necessarily mean that's the problem, but I don't think its coincidence.

I had the same problem only when it was hot out and especially when it was the door facing the sun. I used the DYI here and replaced all 4 actuator motors and haven't had a problem in the past 4 months since the install.
