Default 1998 GS400 - Paddle shifters aren't working

P0763 code.shift solenoid c,is this potentially why my paddle shifters aren't working?.car runs great and shifts through all gears in auto mode.When put in manual mode,"M" flashes and paddle shifters don't work.Any ideas?

Sorry Bro, a GS400 doesn't have "Paddle shifters" It has Tiptronic shift buttons..

What the GS has is in no way shape or form related to the Tiptronic. Tiptronic is a MUCH better shifter control than what we have.

I could only wish we had something even similar to the Tiptronic.

anybody have any good info on why shift buttons on 98 gs400 steering wheel might not be working?

What does it do when you shift the shifter into M?

Does it go to 4th or stay in 5th?
