Hey everyone- I'm new to the forum and hoping some of you experts may be able to clue me in.... I traded my 2010 is 250 for an 08 GS 350--I know 2 years older but I needed more power than the IS could off and didn't want car payments.
Anyway ths car is clean--well has clean carfax--74,000 miles 2 owners...I notice the driver side door sounds like a hollow tin can when I close it...is this normal? Is sounds so cheap..

.also when I first started it this morning I hear like a clanging underneath the car- it sounds very "surface" but stops after driving...1 more thing-- the factory tint is starting to peel- is the normal wear?


I hope I didn't make a poor choice -- any help would be appreciated!

You may want to check the Third Generation forum for an answer.. although I'm sure some 2GS owners own 3GS' as well.

Driver doors are usually the first to go like that, its the most used. The vehicle is 6 years old, wear is expected year make and model of car really doesnt matter... However, higher end cars like the german will last longer.
