rough idle after replacement of fuel pump
So I replaced the fuel pump and filter on my 99 gs300. I drove two days no problems. 3rd day I start my car and it's idling rough, acting like it's missing, and when I give the car gas it falls on it's face. After about 30 seconds if I can get the idle above 4000 rpms the car fixes itself. I am confused what the problem is. Not sure where to start.

Before you start the car, leave it in on for the 30sec. Does the same problem occur? If not, that means the pump needs that 30seconds to build pressure.
What exactly did you do to replace fuel pump and filter? Did you get a whole 1-piece new fuel assembly or did you take it apart and reassemble it?
If it's the latter, then it's most likely you messed up the step with the O-rings for reassembly.
If you followed some of the photo based DIY posted here, some of those are wrong, as compared to the service manual.
The o ring needs to be installed like an o-ring (a ring between outer and inner cylinders), and not stacked like a washer.
The change after the 3rd day could be cause the o-ring shifted even worse than the first 2 days..
