My HVAC has an awful smell that I can't even describe. I've swapped out the cabin filter with no luck. Any suggestions?

Do a google search on this. this is a common problem with all hvac systems. you will find your answer. basically your system has mold in it due to humidity not being dried before turning the car off, thus the sour smell. If you notice, you NEVER smell this during the winter. Why? because you are running heat through the system and killing mold/drying condensation.

yea that nasty farting smell fro the AC is the WORST. ONLY WAY to get rid of it is to buy the AC cleaning kit from the dealer and run it through your lines the proper way.
