So the stater in my GS400 went to **** again. A remanufactured Denso unit from Toyota. Before I spend another $180 on another starter, I would like to know if I could use one from a 2UZ. I have a 2UZ starter in my storage unit, and I'd rather put that in as it wouldn't cost anything. Thank you.

Well using any parts store online as a cross reference, I found that they both have the same part number. and btw, a oem starter rebuild kit is only $79 from from Sewell Lexus
