Default Remove Side front pillars w/ air bags? Pics included
I'm trying to remove the front side pillars that have air bags in them. I almost have them out but there is one rod on the bottom that seems to be holding me back. I try to pry it out or beat on it with a hammer to push out but doesn't even budge.. any help?

both front sides are giving me trouble like this. The air bags never opened or blew up by the way..

actually i was able to pull it down a bit more and pull them straight out thanks anyways

I don't know if you did already, but did you do this without disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes?
